Welcome to Derby Street Sweat: our newest outdoor fitness series!

Welcome to Derby Street Sweat, our newest outdoor fitness series! Beginning July 6 through the month of September, you can get your sweat on safely with our most dynamic and exciting class schedule yet. We’ve partnered with property favorite Rev’d Indoor Cycling and enlisted the help of local favorites like Cohasset’s GloveUp Boxing and other most-loved South Shore instructors to bring you a mix of strength, conditioning, boxing, yoga and more. All classes will take place on the Derby Street Green, located between REI and Kohl’s, and will have limited capacity to ensure social distancing and keep with local safety regulations. Participants must purchase and register for classes in advance. Instructions for doing so for each class can be found below in the partners and class descriptions section.

Rev’d Indoor Cycling: Strength Training
At Rev’d, our mission is to help you achieve your best self, both mentally and physically, by providing you with a supportive culture and motivating instruction.  No bike, no problem. Join us for high-energy training sessions designed to strengthen and tone your muscles. Anna Paiva: Vinyasa Yoga
Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Anna has a vivacious energy that immediately is contagious in the room. She describes her practice as a moment to feel alive and free, linking up mind, breath, body and spirit. Her classes are full of energy. Stephanie Giannaros: Strength and Conditioning
Get your sweat on with a 50-minute strength training and conditioning session! Join certified personal/small group trainer Stephanie Giannaros for a fun-filled total body workout session.  All fitness levels are welcome just bring some light weights, bands and a mat.

Health and wellness has been a passion of Stephanie’s for decades. She turned that passion into a reality when she became a certified personal trainer several years ago. Currently she is a trainer at the Weymouth Club, where she develops strength training programs for individuals and small group classes.  Stephanie works with people of all ages and fitness abilities and takes pride in her ability to customize workouts based on each person’s fitness goals. Her philosophy: Every day is a new opportunity to get stronger, to eat better, and to be the best version of you! Greta Barry, Samantha Pender and Melanie Stewart: HIIT Bodyweight Burn
Join local fitness afficianados Greta, Samantha and Melanie for a full body HIIT workouts that will have you feeling strong, confident, and accomplished. Come and give your all every Tuesday and Wednesday for 45 minutes of sweaty fun! Please email bodyweightburnderby@gmail.com to confirm your spot and receive instructions for class payment. barrebyjenn, barreTONE abs and booty
Meet Jenn Maturo- barre instructor and founder of barrebyjenn barreTONE classes. Jenn received her barre certification training under the best of the best at North End yoga and you can now find her toning and lengthening thighs, sculpting and lifting booties all over the south shore and Boston. Jenn is known for her tough but effective full body and targeted muscle groups  barreTONE  classes and  sweat dripping cardio barre workouts. “I try and push my clients past their limits, it doesn’t matter if its your first or 300th barre class, it should always be difficult, you can always take it one inch deeper, lower, and tighter.” To sign up and purchase classes, please click here. Nilda Martin: Stretch + Meditate and Energy Healing + Meditation
Strech and Meditate: Join us for 30 minutes of mindfulness and deep energy healing. Using a combination of focused self-inquiry, breathwork and visualization, we will explore techniques that help you heal, improve decision making and develop greater empathy. This meditation is great for managing anxiety, emotions and overall stress. Cost per class: $15.

Energy Healing + Meditation: Join us for 30 minutes of mindfulness and deep energy healing. Using a combination of focused self-inquiry, breathwork and visualization, we will explore techniques that help you heal, improve decision making and develop greater empathy. This meditation is great for managing anxiety, emotions and overall stress. Cost per class: $15.

Special Event: Love Connection Meditation + Soundbath (July 9 + July 30, 6:30PM)

How do we develop deeper and more meaningful relationships in our life? We will incorporate intention setting, meditation + sound healing as tools to explore who we are and how we connect. Whether you’re new to spiritual practice or a seasoned practitioner, this meditation will support you in sinking deeply into your heart’s knowing, fine-tuning your life’s purpose and calling, and renewing your connection to yourself and those around you. Explore the healing power of sound, a deep reflective meditation and self-inquiry. Return home with the inspiration and guidance you need to deepen your relationships and explore new ones. Cost per class: $30. Class duration: 1 hour 30 minutes.
