Shoe Market Sales Associates primarily assist customers and are responsible for creating a sales environment that enhances the buying experience.

Key Responsibilities:

▪ Ensure that all customers receive excellent, prompt and courteous service at all times.
▪ Greet each customer that comes into the store in a warm manner.
▪ Assist customers with questions, needs and purchases.
▪ Identify customer requirements and direct them to the appropriate product.
▪ Help customers try on and/or fit merchandise.
▪ Cultivate successful relationships with customers to maintain customer loyalty.
▪ Clean shelves, counters, floors, and empty trash as necessary.
▪ Loss prevention- watching for theft.

Skills and Experience:

▪ Have availability and flexibility to work nights, and weekends to meet the needs of the business.
▪ Preferably have previous retail and/or customer service experience.
▪ Enthusiastic attitude in person and over the telephone.
▪ Able to work in fast paced environment.
▪ Ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization.
▪ Can easily make connections with various kinds of people.
▪ Display a professional and unbiased manner at all times.
▪ Can bend, twist, stand, and climb a ladder to perform job functions.
▪ Can safely lift up to 20lbs. and can maneuver throughout the sales floor and stockroom.
▪ Able to adapt to the immediate or unforeseen challenges.
