Server
The Server position is responsible for enhancing the guest experience by recommending and serving food and beverages according to company’s high quality standards. The Server is one of the primary contacts that a guest has, and the Server must maintain a friendly and attentive demeanor at all times. The Server directly reports to the Front of the House Manager or Manager on Duty.
Skills and Competencies
- Must be able to handle guest incidents/complaints.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle cash and paperwork accurately.
- Leads by example.
- Demonstrated good judgment.
- Must be knowledgeable of Legal Sea Foods menus, policies, and procedures.
- Must be well versed in Point of Sale system.
- Exhibits and uses good manners, proper personal hygiene, positive attitude and promptness.
- Must be able to perform under pressure in a high volume restaurant setting.
BUSSER
The Busser is responsible for bussing, clearing, and re-setting tables. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant and assisting guests as needed. The Busser directly reports to the FOH Manager or Manager on Duty.
This is a non-tipped position. Minimum age requirement is 16 years of age for this position.
Skills & Competencies
- Wipes down tabletops and chairs and re-sets tabletops with place settings.
- Clears away dishes from guests
- Inspects and cleans carpet and other flooring when debris/liquid is detected.
- Responds to guests’ questions and makes recommendations as appropriate.
- Set up and maintain side work including but not limited to setting up tables at the beginning or end of shift.
- Carries trays back to dishwasher, unloads and wipes trays clean.
- Scrapes and stacks dishes. Returns dirty dishes, silverware to the dishwashing area, sorting and placing them in a prescribed area in preparation for washing.
- Stocks stations with roll ups and place mats.
- Checks restrooms for cleanliness.
- Respond to any guests’ additional request and assists servers with their tables as needed.
- Inspects floor for debris, spills and sweeps/dries as necessary.
Other duties as required or assigned by Management.
FOH UTILITY
FOH Utility is a support position that prepares the restaurant for guest service by ensuring that all high touch points for the front of the house are cleaned and sanitized. Additionally, this position ensures that items are stocked and readily available for efficient, hospitable guest service. The FOH Utility directly reports to the FOH Manager or Manager on Duty. This is a non-tipped position. Minimum age requirement is 16 years of age for this position.

- Must be able to interact verbally and listen attentively to co-workers and supervisors.
- Must be pleasant, cooperative and take direction well with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to use judgment as to when items need to be replenished and anticipate needs of others.
- Exhibits and use good manners, proper personal hygiene, positive attitude and promptness

BARTENDER
The Bartender position is responsible for enhancing the guest experience by recommending and serving beverages and food according to company’s high quality standards. The Bartender is one of the primary contacts that a guest has and must maintain a friendly and attentive demeanor at all times. The Server directly reports to the Front of the House Assistant General Manager or Manager on Duty.

- Must be knowledgeable of Legal Sea Foods menus, policies, and procedures.

COOK
The Line Cook position is responsible for preparing and cooking food items in accordance with company quality and service standards. This position must coordinate orders to ensure they are cooked timely and with accuracy. He/She should demonstrate strong knowledge of all menu items and ingredients used in recipes while maintaining and ensuring that all food temperatures are appropriate for menu item (Hot items Hot).The Line Cook must also follow all company safety and sanitation standards. The Line Cook reports directly to the BOH Manager or Manager on Duty.

DISHWASHER
The dishwasher / Utility position is responsible for proper use, care, and maintenance of the dish machine. The dishwasher is also responsible for minor interior and exterior maintenance (snow and ice removal, trash removal). The dishwasher is required to keep a clean supply of dishware, glassware, and silverware as well as an adequate supply of utensils for the kitchen. He/she must also perform various maintenance clean-up functions, such as general cleaning & sanitizing, or any other related duties assigned by Management while ensuring that all safety and sanitation standards are maintained.

HOST/TAKE OUT
The Host position is responsible for greeting and seating guests in a friendly and personalized manner upon arrival into the restaurant. Maintain attentive and courteous communication with guests, answering the phone and all questions in a polite manner. This position handles take out for our guests; ensures all take-out guidelines, specifications and quality and service standards of met. Host presence at the front desk is required at all times to extend an appropriate welcome, farewell and a sincere invitation for our guests’ return.
